A Little Bio

Anna was born and raised in Philomath just outside of town on Evergreen Road on a 20-acre farm. She graduated from Philomath High School and will always be grateful for all her small town gave her.

She spent much of her early life learning from her family who were involved in the community that working with your neighbors is how to get things done. Anna graduated from Southern Oregon University with a degree in Political Science and was the first in her family to graduate from college. She went on to earn an MBA in Global Management while working full-time at Hewlett-Packard in Corvallis and starting her own family.

Anna has worked for both large and small companies here in Oregon, and because of this work, she has a strong grasp of the importance both small and large business play in keeping Oregon competitive in the local and the global economy. Anna’s husband Jason and his family own a farm just outside of Dallas. They have two children: a son who is a graduate student at Southern Oregon University working on his Masters in Teaching, and a daughter who is attending Eastern Oregon University Majoring in Economics and Agriculture Entrepreneurship.

“I have worked in the legislature and have seen first-hand the dysfunction of polarizing partisanship. I want you to know that I am committed to serving you, and the whole of House District 23.”
